Job Description:
Lead the operational, commercial, and administrative performance of the Francistown branch. Drive branch profitability, manage staff and stock controls, maintain customer service standards, ensure compliance with company procedures, and grow market presence through strong leadership and operational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day branch operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve sales and operational targets.
- Maintain excellent customer service and strong client relationships.
- Monitor sales, costs, stock levels, and profitability; improve performance.
- Prepare branch reports and provide operational updates to management.
- Ensure accurate stock management, stock counts, and inventory controls.
- Maintain housekeeping, branch presentation, and operational discipline.
- Enforce policies, procedures, health & safety standards, and internal controls.
- Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
- Identify improvement opportunities and grow branch market presence.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in branch/retail/operations management or similar leadership role.
- Strong people management and customer service experience.
- Financial awareness to manage expenses and performance.
- Computer literacy and reporting capability.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food, FMCG, retail, wholesale, distribution sectors.
- Experience managing a branch with both sales and operational responsibilities.
- Knowledge of stock systems, branch controls, and team performance management.
Skills:
- Leadership and staff management.
- Branch operations management and commercial awareness.
- Sales and customer relationship management.
- Planning, organisation, and reporting control.
- Problem-solving and decision-making; strong communication skills.
Relevant Experience:
