Freedom 77 Recruitment is seeking candidates to work for a prominent company in Botswana. The company is seeking qualified, local candidates for the following engineering positions.
Position 1: Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply mechanical engineering principles to water and wastewater treatment systems.
- Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- BTech/BEng/BSc in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment.
- Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) with a valid practicing certificate or a reputable professional body.
- Experience working with Chinese contractors (references preferred).
Position 2: Electrical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems related to water and wastewater treatment.
- Conduct system assessments and improvements to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications:
- BEng/BSc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from a recognized university.
- Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) with a valid practicing certificate or a reputable professional body.
- Experience working with Chinese contractors (references preferred).
Position 3: Telemetry/Automation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement telemetry and SCADA systems for water and wastewater projects.
- Ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Work closely with the engineering team to integrate automation solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- BEng/BSc in Electrical & Electronics, Control & Instrumentation, Telecommunication, or Communication Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience designing telemetry and SCADA systems in water or wastewater projects.
- Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) or a reputable professional body.
- Experience working with Chinese contractors (references preferred).
