Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of our construction projects in Botswana. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure compliance with them.
- Monitor project progress and report on key performance metrics.
- Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are maintained on all construction sites.
- Manage construction teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Resolve issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare reports and provide updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager in large-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and project management software.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
