Position: Intern – Listings and Trading

Job Description: A dynamic and motivated individual is sought to join a Listings and Trading Department within a leading capital markets organization. The intern will support the development and management of policies and procedures for new listings and trading activity. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates interested in capital markets, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting and compiling Daily Market Reports, including index calculations
- Support dissemination of market announcements via internal systems
- Contribute to administrative aspects of strategic projects, including conducting basic research
- Prepare manual fee notes and perform document digitization
- Update data on internal systems (Client Editor GUI) to ensure accuracy of published reports
- Maintain and update daily market values spreadsheets
- Monitor trading activity manually via the Automated Trading System (ATS)
- Draft internal memos, reports, and external communications as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualifications:
- None required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Knowledge of financial markets and regulatory principles is an asset
Relevant Experience:
- No formal work experience required
- Passion for capital markets and regulatory research is advantageous
