Job Description

The Financial Systems Analyst/Manager will be responsible for planning, organising, leading, and managing financial systems across the company. This role involves providing expert advice and solutions on finance applications, improving efficiency, and ensuring the seamless integration and operation of financial control systems within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group financial consolidations and financial reporting processes.
• Identify, develop, and implement effective financial control systems across the organisation.
• Conduct regular supervisory visits to branch offices to assess and support financial operations.
• Provide technical and operational support to internal teams and management.
• Analyse and compile monthly financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve financial systems and processes.
• Oversee quality control assessments of all financial systems and applications.
• Scrutinise accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage financial system projects from design through to implementation.

• Ability to train and develop staff on financial systems and processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems.
• A professional qualification such as CIMA or CA is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years’ post-qualification experience in financial systems management or a related field.
• Experience in financial systems design, development, and implementation.
• Prior experience in the transportation, logistics, or courier industry will be an added advantage.
