Job Description:
Lead day-to-day exploration programs including drilling supervision and logging. Deliver accurate data capture, management, and interpretation to support resource estimation and mine planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise diamond drilling and core logging; manage sampling programs.
- Troubleshoot drilling issues; ensure HSE compliance.
- Compile datasets, interpret results, and support resource estimates.
- Manage/mentor field technicians and junior geologists.
Required Qualifications:
- BSc Geology (or equivalent).
Skills:
- Core logging, sampling QA/QC, GIS/database, reporting.
Relevant Experience:
- 5+ years in exploration & mining, preference for open pit; competent in diamond drill supervision and core logging.
