Job Description
Our client is seeking charismatic and dedicated Waiters/Waitresses to join their hospitality team at a stunning lodge in a unique, remote environment. The ideal candidates will be passionate about guest service, deliver exceptional dining experiences with a warm and professional demeanor, and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
You will be an integral part of the guests’ experience — providing attentive service, sharing knowledge of the lodge and local area, and ensuring a memorable stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and serve meals promptly.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies with care.
- Gain comprehensive menu knowledge, including daily specials, ingredients, and beverage pairings.
- Set up and clear tables before, during, and after meals, maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
- Act as a lodge ambassador — share knowledge of the local area and wildlife.
- Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or lodge setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and positive demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of food & beverage service standards and hygiene practices.
- Experience in a remote or lodge environment is advantageous.
- A passion for nature, wildlife, and the outdoors is highly desirable.
