Job Description

We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced Safety Specialists to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring effective implementation of occupational health & safety procedures across large-scale, multidisciplinary construction projects. This role requires hands-on site involvement, strong knowledge of safety regulations, and the ability to influence safe work culture at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HSE plans, policies, and procedures
• Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations
• Lead incident/accident investigations and prepare comprehensive reports
• Provide safety training and induction programs for site personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinate and track corrective and preventive actions
• Participate in HSE audits and assist with ISO/OHSMS compliance efforts
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, permits, and records
• Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure operational discipline across project teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10 years total work experience
• At least 5 years experience working on large-scale, multidisciplinary construction projects
• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field (advantage)
• Professional Safety Certifications such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent strongly preferred
• Proven experience with risk assessment, incident reporting, and construction site safety systems
• Knowledge of safety regulations, ISO 45001 standards, and compliance frameworks
