Job Description:
A well-established international courier and logistics business is seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales & Marketing to lead national revenue growth, brand positioning, and strategic client acquisition across Botswana and cross-border markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy aligned to revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve KPIs.
  • Drive B2B client acquisition across corporate, SME, and government sectors.
  • Build strategic partnerships to grow market share and customer retention.
  • Monitor pipeline, forecasts, and performance reporting, report to Executive Management.
  • Identify new revenue streams in express courier, freight, logistics, and e-commerce distribution.
  • Negotiate high-value contracts; oversee tenders and corporate proposals.
  • Develop and execute brand positioning and marketing strategy (digital campaigns, promotions, PR).
  • Own sales budgets, forecasting, revenue tracking, and profitability monitoring.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
  • 8–10 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in courier, logistics, freight, supply chain, or related industry (highly advantageous).

Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and strong commercial acumen.
  • Leadership and people management capability.
  • Negotiation and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; results-driven mindset.

Relevant Experience:

  • Proven corporate B2B sales leadership and consistent achievement of revenue targets.
  • Track record in market share expansion, new client acquisition, and customer retention improvement.
