Job Description:
Manage day-to-day operations of a factory-linked showroom/shop, ensuring excellent customer service, strong stock control, merchandising standards, staff supervision, and smooth coordination between shopfloor and factory/product supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the showroom/shop environment.
- Ensure stock availability, rotation, and accurate inventory control.
- Supervise staff and ensure excellent customer service standards.
- Monitor sales performance and implement initiatives to improve turnover.
- Maintain display standards, cleanliness, and showroom presentation.
- Coordinate product flow with factory, stores, procurement, and logistics teams.
- Manage cash handling, daily reconciliations, and operational reporting (where applicable).
- Monitor wastage, damages, shrinkage, and stock losses; implement controls.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Operations Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in retail/showroom/factory shop/wholesale operations.
- Experience managing staff, stock, and day-to-day shop operations.
- Computer literacy (POS/stock/reporting systems).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food, meat, FMCG, or manufacturing-linked retail/wholesale.
- Experience in factory shop/showroom environments.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in product-handling environments.
