Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Crane Truck Driver to operate crane trucks safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting, loading, and offloading materials or equipment using crane truck machinery while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate crane trucks safely and efficiently during loading, offloading, and transportation activities.
- Conduct daily vehicle and equipment checks before use.
- Ensure loads are properly secured before transportation.
- Follow all road safety, site safety, and equipment operating procedures.
- Report any mechanical faults, damages, or safety concerns to management.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, deliveries, and equipment usage where required.
- Work independently and complete assigned duties with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Relevant crane truck operating certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional safety or lifting equipment training will be an added advantage.
Skills:
- Safe and responsible driving skills.
- Crane truck operation and load-handling ability.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Reliability and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and time management skills.
Relevant Experience:
- Proven experience operating crane trucks safely and efficiently.
- Experience working in transport, logistics, construction, or site-based operations will be an advantage.
