Job Description:

Freedom 77 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Road Construction Manager / Site Agent with a BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering to oversee the execution of road building projects in Botswana. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive site management experience and a proven record in delivering road infrastructure projects across Africa or SADC countries.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications: BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in road building projects.
• Geographical Experience: Must have worked on road construction projects in Africa or SADC countries.
• International Funding Projects: Experience in World Bank funded projects is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all site activities for road construction projects.
• Ensure project delivery in line with technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers for efficient operations.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities for smooth project execution.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project standards.
• Prepare regular site reports and updates for senior management and stakeholders.
