Job Description
Freedom 77 Recruitment is hiring on behalf of the employer, whose identity remains confidential. Our client is a dynamic and growing construction company specializing in residential projects, including home renovations, extensions, and bespoke upgrades, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality workmanship and tailored solutions that meet client expectations. They are seeking a highly driven and hands-on Project Manager with solid experience in residential construction to oversee end-to-end project execution, manage on-site teams, engage with clients, and support business development through networking and sales activities. This role requires a strong balance of technical construction expertise and client-facing ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Oversee and manage residential construction projects, including renovations and home extensions
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all project phases from inception to completion
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications
- Monitor quality control, safety standards, and compliance with regulations
Site & Team Management
- Lead and manage on-site teams including contractors and artisans
- Supervise work related to decking, tiling, and structural extensions
- Allocate tasks, manage productivity, and ensure high-quality workmanship
- Resolve on-site challenges efficiently and proactively
Client Engagement & Sales
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements and project expectations
- Provide professional advice, solutions, and project insights
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities through networking and referrals
- Actively contribute to sales growth and project acquisition
Planning & Coordination
- Prepare project schedules, timelines, and resource plans
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure materials and resources are available when required
- Manage project documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in residential projects
- Strong knowledge of home renovations, extensions, decking, and tiling
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams and multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in client-facing roles with sales or business development exposure
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards
