Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Procurement and Contracts Specialist to facilitate the formulation of tender contracts, oversee procurement activities, and ensure compliance with procurement regulations. This role involves managing inventory, advising on procurement strategies, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on stock range and quantities to meet demand.
- Monitor contractual agreements, recommend amendments, and ensure compliance.
- Analyze and investigate material and equipment losses and provide findings to management.
- Authorize purchase orders within set limits and submit exceeding amounts for supervisor approval.
- Manage inventory and oversee the disposal of obsolete goods.
- Facilitate bulk procurement to align with local procurement programs.
- Conduct market research to align advertised specifications with product developments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Strategic Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply Level 6, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply, and Materials Management, with 2 years served as a Principal Procurement Officer II or equivalent (D3 salary scale).

Benefits:
- Salary Scale: D2 (P337,008 – P371,628) per annum.
- 30 working days of annual leave.
- Optional contributory Medical Aid Scheme (50% Government contribution).
