Job Description:
We are recruiting an enthusiastic Junior Network Engineer with a strong foundation in IP networking to join a fast-growing ISP team. The role provides hands-on exposure across ISP networking, security, client support, data-centre hosting and software-driven services, working with Cisco and Fortinet technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Configure and support IPv4 networks, including routing protocols and addressing.
• Work with Cisco IOS and Fortinet devices for firewall, routing and security management.
• Provide technical support & troubleshooting for client connectivity, email and hosting issues.
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve incidents.
• Participate in client engagements to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent customer experience.
• Support internal projects across data centre hosting, IaaS and web/email services.
• Collaborate with the software team on network–application integrations.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networks, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantages):

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet NSE or CompTIA Network+.
• Exposure to Linux systems and server hosting environments.
• Interest in cloud, virtualization and data centre technologies.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of IP networking (IPv4, routing, switching, subnetting).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS configuration.
• Familiarity with Fortinet firewalls and security policies.
• Knowledge of email processes (SMTP, POP, IMAP), DNS, MX records.
• Effective troubleshooting for connectivity/application issues.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the ISP/cloud services industry.

Relevant Experience:

• Minimum 2 years work experience in networking/ISP or related environment.
