Job Description:
Lead the end-to-end maintenance function for a manufacturing plant. Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs (PRAGMA On Key), drive reliability and continuous improvement (TPM/5S/Kaizen), and uphold SHEQ/ISO/HACCP/FSSC 22000 compliance. Manage budgets, spares, and OEM relationships; partner with Production to lift OEE, reduce downtime, and execute capex and automation initiatives. Report to Operations Management and collaborate cross-functionally to sustain world-class asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all plant maintenance/repair activities to maximize uptime and reliability.
• Run PM/PdM programmes via PRAGMA On Key CMMS; ensure work-order compliance and asset-history data integrity.
• Track and report breakdowns, efficiencies, availability, MTTR/MTBF, and OEE.
• Oversee electrical systems (switchgear, transformers, control panels, PLC/SCADA/HMI) and mechanical services.
• Enforce SHEQ and food-safety standards (ISO, HACCP, FSSC 22000); perform regular shop-floor checks.
• Manage engineering spares, monthly stocktakes, SAP alignment, and critical spares with OEMs.
• Apply RCA/RCM to eliminate chronic failures; lead energy-efficiency and green projects.
• Partner with Production Manager to improve yield, OEE, and energy intensity.
• Support capex: specification, planning, execution, timeline/budget control.
• Investigate and implement automation to de-risk operations and improve throughput.
• Champion TPM/5S/Kaizen culture; lead, coach, and performance-manage a multi-trade team.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proven proficiency with PRAGMA On Key (CMMS) and SAP.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/PLC systems and fault-finding.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Maintenance Excellence frameworks (e.g., MESS) and food-safety systems (ISO/HACCP/FSSC 22000).
• Exposure to OEE improvement, TPM, RCM/RCA, and energy-optimization projects.

Skills:

• Leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams; strong communication, planning, and analytical ability.
• Data-driven reporting (PRAGMA/SAP), KPI management (OEE, MTTR/MTBF), and stakeholder management with OEMs/contractors.
• Results-driven, assertive, high integrity; continuous-improvement mindset.

Relevant Experience:

• 10+ years’ maintenance management.
• Demonstrated leadership of 12+ artisans across trades and delivery of reliability and cost-reduction outcomes.
