Job Summary:
The Senior Technical Manager will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced cold storage systems tailored for agricultural products. This role requires strong expertise in refrigeration technology, a hands-on approach, and the ability to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop refrigeration systems for vegetable storage, ensuring maximum efficiency and temperature control.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of refrigeration equipment and related infrastructure.
• Conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Monitor and optimize energy usage and system performance, implementing improvements as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to enhance storage solutions and integrate new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on refrigeration systems and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• National Diploma or higher in HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration).
• At least 15 years of proven experience in cold storage installations and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration systems, including ammonia and CO2 technologies.
• Familiarity with modern control systems, sensors, and automation technologies.

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
