Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Tractor Mechanics Supervisor to manage the operations of the Agrisales Workshop. The successful candidate will oversee the service and repair of tractors and implements, manage a team of mechanics and apprentices, and ensure the workshop meets and exceeds monthly targets and business objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director, the candidate must be dedicated, mature, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure overall quality of workshop output.
• Manage service and repairs of tractors and agricultural implements.
• Oversee productivity and performance of mechanics and apprentices.
• Meet and exceed monthly workshop targets and business objectives.
• Delegate and manage work in progress.
• Implement and monitor workshop processes and procedures.
• Conduct quality assurance and maintain high standards of work.
• Facilitate skills transfer and training for staff.
• Maintain systematic and accurate records.

Required Competencies:

• Expertise in agricultural equipment and tractor mechanics.
• Strong delegation and team management skills.
• High energy and commitment to customer service excellence.
• Ability to implement productivity measurement programs.
• Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
• Methodical and systematic approach to record-keeping.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience in an agricultural workshop environment.
• Knowledge of tractor engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
• Understanding of marketing and sales.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of managerial-level work experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
