Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily data capturing, managing petty cash, payments, receipts, and reconciliations of accounts. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture daily financial data accurately and efficiently.
• Manage petty cash expenses and ensure timely payments and receipts.
• Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
• Oversee bill payments and ensure financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Assist in financial reporting and budgeting.

Required Qualifications:

• AAT or equivalent qualification (or higher).
• BICA membership is preferred.
• Knowledge of an ERP system is beneficial.
• BGCSE certificate (please include this in your application).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in the meat wholesale, retail, or processed meat industry.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and fast learner.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.

Experience:

• More than 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
