Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Materials Engineer to ensure the quality, compliance, and suitability of materials used in civil engineering projects—particularly in the construction of bituminous paved roadways. The successful candidate will play a critical role in project delivery by ensuring all materials meet required standards and are effectively implemented throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct material testing to verify compliance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Keep thorough documentation of material tests, approvals, and any corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
• Evaluate and select suitable materials based on their technical properties, costs, and application requirements.
• Identify material-related defects or non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance to ensure optimal use of materials during construction.
• Execute any other reasonable assignments necessary for the success of the project.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Valid ERB (Engineers Registration Board) Practising Certificate
• Valid Class B Driver’s License
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in bituminous paved roadway construction and road works
