Freedom 77 Recruitment is seeking candidates to work for an employer engaged in the construction and general maintenance of bitumen paved roads, including new construction and surfacing works.

Job Summary:
The Road Asset Manager/Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the quality management of the road construction and maintenance project, including the development of quality control systems and ensuring project conformance to standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and manage the Forward Work Programme, including identifying and timing all major interventions.
• Oversee network performance (routine maintenance), pavement deterioration modelling, and required risk analysis for the contractor.
• Handle disputes and conflicts during the project, facilitating resolutions with stakeholders.
• Perform additional reasonable tasks as required to meet service needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid ERB practicing certificate.
• Valid Class B driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience managing the construction and maintenance of road networks, including road asset data collection and analysis.

Skills:

• Leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent planning and scheduling abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
