Freedom 77 Recruitment is seeking candidates to work for an employer in the construction and road maintenance industry. The hiring company is engaged in the construction and general maintenance of bitumen-paved roads, including new construction and surfacing works, with headquarters in Phakalane.

Job Summary:
The Road Asset Manager/Quality Assurance Manager will oversee conformance and quality management for road projects, including the development and optimization of quality control systems. The role involves planning, implementing, and managing road maintenance programs while ensuring compliance with performance standards and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and manage the Forward Work Programme, including identifying and timing major interventions.
• Oversee network performance programs (routine maintenance), pavement deterioration modeling, and risk analysis.
• Handle disputes or conflicts during the project and facilitate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Execute additional assignments as required to meet project demands.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid ERB practicing certificate.
• Valid Class B driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in managing the construction and maintenance of road networks.
• Proficiency in road asset data collection and analysis.

Skills:

• Leadership and team management.
• Planning and scheduling expertise.
• Strong project management skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
