Main Duty:
To ensure the quality and appropriateness of materials used in projects meet set standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests to ensure materials meet project specifications and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of material tests and approvals.
• Work with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assess and select appropriate materials for road construction based on properties, cost, and project requirements.
• Address material issues, defects, or non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the construction process.
• Execute any other reasonable assignments as required.

• Leadership, Planning, and Scheduling.
• Project Management, Problem-Solving, and Analytical Skills.
• Strong Communication and Report Writing.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Valid ERB practicing certificate.
• Valid Class B driver’s license.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in bituminous paved roadways and road works construction.
