Job Description: We are looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic specializing in heavy plant machinery to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fault diagnostics, repairs, and testing on heavy plant equipment
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance
  • Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and manuals
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Botswana MQWM Act
  • Risk assessment training

Skills:

  • Technical competence in diesel engines and hydraulics
  • Excellent HSE knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair independently
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic with heavy plant machinery
